Experience Mount Vernon Announces the 6th Annual Johnny Appleseed Fall Festival!
Experience Mount Vernon and Ariel-Foundation Park invite the community to celebrate the arrival of fall at the 6th Annual Johnny Appleseed Fall Festival on Sunday, October 11, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Schnormeier Event Center at Ariel-Foundation Park. Presented by the Peoples Bank of Gambier, this free event will feature live music, food trucks, festive activities, local vendors, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy an autumn afternoon together.

ACTS Center Thrift Store is located at 474 Wooster Road in Mount Vernon. The ACTS Center is Adventists Caring Through Sharing. Profits from the Thrift Store are used to assist in the running of a food pantry, which feeds hundreds of Mount Vernon residents each month.

Guests are also invited to enjoy a little fishing during their visit! The pond at
Ariel-Foundation Park will be stocked for the festival, and visitors are welcome to bring their own fishing gear and cast a line before or during the event.
