This year we will celebrate a Country Christmas at the 24th Annual Christmas Walk and Charity Auction on Saturday, December 7th from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.  

The event is packed with activities to get you in the Christmas spirit!  
 

Join us in Fredericktown to experience a day of Christmas FUN!

•  Musical entertainment throughout the afternoon 

• Official Lighting of the Christmas Tree at the Gazebo with music from   Fredericktown High School Choirs

• Wagon Rides to Sockman Park to view the lights. 

• Kid's Crafts and Photo Booth at the Baptist Church 

• local vendors for Christmas shopping 

• Santa and his favorite Reindeer 

• Crafters and vendors return to the Fredericktown Presbyterian Church, 17 S Main   Street. 

• Card making will be in the lower level of the Presbyterian Church 

• An online auction will run from November 29th through December 4th. Bidders will be able to pick up their items between 1pm and 4pm on the day of the event (12/7) at the Council Chambers 

  • Donations may be made until November 22nd at the Fredericktown School’s Administration Building from 8am and 4pm. 

• The Scrumptious Food Auction at 6pm in the Council Chambers (formerly Senior Citizen Building) 

•  This year’s ornament is a 2-sided ceramic dated ornament featuring a picture of the Gazebo. These would make great Christmas gifts at $15.00   

• Ornaments may be purchased in advance at The Shoppe on Main and TD Landscape and the day of the event at the craft/vendor exhibits at the Presbyterian Church. 

• Gingerbread House Contest at The Shoppe on Main, 167 N Main Street in Fredericktown. Stop by and vote for your favorite by making a donation.  

• Local Businesses will be open along Main Street.   

• NEW EVENT - First Annual Christmas Tree decorating contest at the Kokosing Splash Pad. We are inviting generous and competitive local business to participate. Donation $150

The Fredericktown Christmas Walk Charity Auction

The Fredericktown Christmas Walk is hosting TWO auctions this year. 
An online auction will run from November 29h – December 4th  

Winning bidders may pick up their items on December 7 at the Council Chambers between 
1pm and 4pm.  
 
Then there will also be the Scrumptious Food Auction, taking place during the Christmas Walk on December 7 in the Council Chambers (formerly Senior Citizen Building). 
Your quality donations are needed to make this a success. Families, friends, neighbors, churches, and local organizations are encouraged to donate baskets, service offerings, and gift certificates. The Fredericktown Christmas Walk and Auction is only possible with the help of community members. 

Items for the Scrumptious Food Auction can be dropped off between 1pm and 4pm on the day of the walk at the Council Chambers. The auction begins at approximately 5:30pm. 
Items and instructions on how to bid will be posted on the Fredericktown Christmas Walk Facebook page.

The Fredericktown Christmas Walk Gingerbread House Contest 

Register for the annual Gingerbread Contest at the Fredericktown Christmas Walk. 

There are several contest categories: 

·       Best Business 

·       Best Adult 

·       Best Kindergarten – 2nd grade 

·       Best 3rd grade – 5th grade 

·       Best 6th grade – 8th grade 

·       Best 9th grade – 12th grade 

 

Gingerbread houses will be on display at The Shoppe on Main, 167 N Main Street in Fredericktown during the Walk. Stop by and vote for your favorite by making a donation. 
They will also have FREE paint-your-own cookies available for all ages!
