FREDERICKTOWN CHRISTMAS WALK – this Saturday, December 7!
Join WNZR in downtown Fredericktown THIS Saturday, December 7 for the
19th Annual Fredericktown Christmas Walk. The Christmas Walk is on Saturday from 3pm to 7pm.  Come experience the spirit of what Christmas is all about!


The Walk Committee invites everyone to attend and mark the beginning of the Christmas season, while supporting local charities that provide food and financial services to area residents.


There is so much to see and do:

  • Live and Silent Charity Auction at 3:00pm in the Senior Citizen Building!

  • Santa will be seeing children at the Gazebo

  • Gazebo tree lighting ceremony at 6:30pm

  • Ice Sculptures

  • Tractor pulled wagon rides around the Christmas light display

  • Letters to Santa, Crafts for Kids and Hot Food at the Masonic Lodge

  • Poinsettia Sale

  • Crafts and Vendors and food at the First Presbyterian Church in the Fellowship Hall

  • Crafts for Kids and the WNZR Photo Booth at the Baptist Church

  • Live musical groups

  • A Gingerbread Competition at First Knox National Bank, awards will be presented

  • The Fredericktown Merchant Association will provide special events throughout the afternoon

  • The commemorative ornament this year features an Olde Fashioned Fredericktown Christmas theme featuring the iconic image of an old truck with a Christmas tree. This unique ornament will be on display at Huff’s Fine Jewelry, Aunt Ruth’s Attic, FC Bank and First Knox National Bank. It will be available for purchase at Huff's Fine Jewelry beginning the week of November 17th, and at the Presbyterian Church on the day of the Christmas Walk.

  • New this year – a 5K Fun Run around the village of Fredericktown. Whether you are a serious runner or just want to participate with friends in a coordinated themed outfit, participants are encouraged to dress up in Christmas costumes, Santa outfits, ugly sweaters, etc. A commemorative shirt is included with your paid early registration. More information will be provided on the Fredericktown Christmas Walk Facebook page.

  • Also new this year - Santa Cents will be hidden around town prior to the Fredericktown Christmas Walk. The day of the Christmas Walk, we encourage visitors to find these special tokens. These special tokens can be redeemed at participating stores in Fredericktown until December 31st. More information will be forthcoming on the Fredericktown Christmas Walk Facebook page.

  • Look for WNZR’s Blue Tent in front of the Fredericktown Village Office
